Initiate payments on every rail your bank runs, directly from the sub-account that holds the funds. No sweep to a master account, no rekeying into a separate system.

Frequently asked questions

Does Hudson move the funds?

Hudson initiates and instructs payments. The bank's infrastructure moves the funds. Hudson is a software layer that coordinates with the bank's payment rails, and never takes custody of customer funds.

Which payment rails do you support?

ACH, DirectPay (bulk ACH), Fedwire (domestic), Direct Debit and instant payments (both via AstraFi), and checks (paper/RCC/eCheck). Each rail is enabled based on your bank's existing connectivity.

How are payments approved before they go out?

Every payment runs through an approval workflow, with configurable human escalations and multi-party controls above a threshold you manage. Nothing is sent until it's reviewed and approved.

How are returns and reversals handled?

Returns and reversals tie back to the original disbursement automatically and post to the sub-account ledger and the audit trail.

How fast do payments settle?

Depends on the rail: Instant Payments in seconds, Wires in minutes, ACH up to 3 days, Checks depending on mail service. You pick the rail that best fits the business needs behind the payment.
